Breastfeeding Support
Every family that chooses to breastfeed hopes and expects that things will go well. And for most families, it does. But sometimes, things don’t get off to the best start. Maybe baby won’t latch, or they’re fussy at the breast. As baby grows and becomes more mobile, issues may arise as every new experience causes distraction. Perhaps mom has decided she would rather pump and bottle feed, has to go back to work soon, or is ready to wean and would like support during the transition. There are many reasons a family may need breastfeeding support, and we are here to help along the way. Our Certified Breastfeeding Specialist can help with uncomplicated breastfeeding issues, within the Scope of Practice for the CBS. Issues that are outside of the CBS Scope of Practice will be referred to the appropriate healthcare professional.
